Well he had his chemo today,so far so good,he is feeling very very tired,will wait and see how he feels in next couple of days. OH by the way,he finally let me shave the rest of his hair off on the top of his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He would not let me use a razor cause he was afraid I would cut him so I used the trimmers.

lol I would not let a woman near my head with a razor either

here is the latest,he goes in for a ct scan on the 24th,depending on what that shows,if its good he has only 2 chemo treatments left then another pet scan,if bad then he has 4 more chemo treatments then pet scan.He is so hoping only 2 more,will let you all know the results when we see doc again on the 2nd.

Ok guys here is the the very latest!!!!!!!! King is going into the hospital today at centerpoint,the infection in his leg where they took out the lymph node is really really infected,they dont know how or why it is infected but they want him in the hospital ASAP and they are stopping his chemo until further notice.I will try to keep you all updated as much as possible but dont know how much I will be home.I will get u all his room number and stuff but it might be late tonight or if you want you can call me on my cell at 816-612-5539,I will always have my cell phone on me.

ok guys carl aka king is in centerpoint hospital in room 606 hopefully he will only be there a couple of days but it depends on how fast the meds work through his system,i will be up there most of the night and will have my cell phone on me if you would like to call

OK here is the latest,the infection is better in his leg,its still there just not as bad,he is out of the hospital,how he got out is very funny now.

he kept calling me at work yesterday wanting to know if i was getting off early and what time,well his nurse had given him permission to go outside to "walk around" well he decided once i got off work and got to his room he said grab whatever you can cause i am not coming back in,so i grabbed the what i could the first time put that in the car and he got in the car and then i went back up for the rest,told them he would be back up in 5-10 minutes,got back to the car and booked it home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I broke him out of the hospital!!!!!!!!!

I am sitting here with a big grin on my face as I did the same thing with my wife whenever I had the pheunomia.........yeap, it was at Center Point also.....

yep he said 3 days and 2 nights were enough,he wanted his own bed,hes still going to the cancer center and they might be able to give him the meds through an iv out there during the day that way he can be home at night

Well, now that is some good news Kim!

Glad to hear he got a good nights rest in his own bed.

I have thought of dropping by but just don't want to interrupt his sleeping.

give him a call to make sure he is home and you can drop by anytime,hes usually around 8 every morning

well good news and bad news,ct scan showed almost all cancer is gone for the time being,bad news is he cannot have his last 2 chemo treatments till the infection goes away in his leg!!!!!!!. hopefully that is soon cause we dont want any of the cancer to come back between now and then

Kim I am SOOOOO HAPPY to hear this, I knew the big guy could do it, I have thought about you guys alot lately and hoping Carl can get well enough to get back on the quads this year to join us and hang out.

OK GUYS,here is the latest,HE HAD HIS LAST CHEMO YESTERDAY[we hope] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wont find out 100% sure until sometime next month,but so far everything looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOKS like the hubby will be around for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 25 years together so far,I want atleast another 25.
