Time for a hurtbiking thread. I'll start...

Funniest: Neighbors snickering at me when I was loading the bike. The tie down came unhooked and I did a back flip over the side of the truck hanging my by foot. Twisted ankle but not hurt bad.

Most expensive: $900 stitches from foot peg injury, again while loading the bike.

Scariest: Slid over 8 foot ledge into dry creek bed. "Unconventional" landing. No injuries to myself or bike.

Worst hurt: Milford, me vs hill. There was a ditch at the top and I went over the bars into an embankment. Whacked my male parts on the handle bar. Bike landed on me. Sprained my ankle and twisted my knee. Have been off for 3 months just for good measure but my knee still isn't perfect.

Very Happy Very Happy

I know there are several members on here that can top those!

Doing a wheelie on my dirt bike with all the neighbors out, hit some wet grass when I set the front tire down, it slipped out , went down, broke my collar bone. One week before a planned trip to Waynoka, OK.
Went anyhow, boy was that a rough trip!

Wow, did you have it reset Greg?

Or, did you just use the door jamb and a jar of Apple Pie?

I can't compare to such carnage. My worst to date is the first time I tried a bike. 13 years old mounted a suzuki 1somethin enduro, popped a wheelie on take off, didn't let go -which throttled it up- and was drug wheelie style into the side of my grammies ford bronco. Bike, bronco and I showed no damage. my back was sore a cpl days

Good Luck Greg, hope all goes well and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Looks like I will be doing Physical Therapy through the remainder of 2013.

Things are looking up and the wifey even mentioned something about me getting older and not healing as fast either........I asked if that meant she was approving a 4-wheeler and she said right after she gets a trike for the street. Ain't going to happen!....LOL

Substantial tears to the top two muscles that make up the rotator cuff. Set for surgery Dec 19th. then no riding for three to six months. Watched utube video of the operation.
