We [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], but we have a new date!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Very Happy

In coordination with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...
In cooperation with local off-road organizations...
In cooperation with the US Army Corps of Engineers...

The Perry Lake ORV Work Day!
Sunday September 28
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

What will we be doing?

  • Trimming branches off the trail
  • Weed-whacking around the perimeter fence line
  • Erosion control
  • Constructing a safer creek crossing using a conduit and gravel

So bring your gas-powered edger, chainsaw, shovel, and leather gloves. (Or just you!) Work day kicks off at 9 AM. When the work wraps up, we'll play on the trails to enjoy the fruits of our labor!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Not only will we benefit directly from an improved riding area, the local Corps office gets credit for every volunteer hour worked. This is why we need you to complete the Volunteer Form. We'll have copies at the work day, but save time by downloading and filling out the form ahead of time.

Hey, Guys! Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the subject lately. I've been really swamped at work and home lately--all 1st World Problems I assure you!

We are really looking forward to a fun and successful Perry Lake Work Day. I'm very encouraged by the support from the MoKan community. You've got some great folks here. Of course that's no surprise because for the most part, off-road folks are good, generous people! Cool

Oh my gosh yes! I think that School Creek work day might have been the coldest day of the year! It didn't stop us, though!

A big thanks to all that showed up to help is was a big success. The trails are a lot nicer and safer. I believe most of the trails that were blocked by down trees are now open. Thanks to Troy Wolf and other members from rider.net. The Corps also bought out gravel , their bobcat a brushhog to pull behind a quad. They also drove the trails and help cut trees too.
