I recently bought this quad for my son but it had been sitting for a couple of years. I changed the oil, and fuel and it starts right up but when I take it off the choke it will not idle. I cleaned out the carb and there was some debris in there but got all of it out. I put it back together but still doing the same thing.

Thanks.

Danny

I'll be willing to bet you didn't get the pilot jet cleaned. take the carb off again and remove the pilot jet. you need a real small super thin wire to do this. start by trying to feed the wire from the top and then the bottem with a twisting motion use compressed air to blow the fine particles and fill free to use carb cleaner' once it's clean the wire will pass through it. like I said you need a real fine wire.
