I FINALLY got a pickup that runs and drives lol, now I can actually haul a quad around bounce without having to borrow a truck or trailer lol.

I picked up a 1992 Ford F250 4x4 with a 351W

I am replacing the headlights because they were hazy junk and couldnt fix them, when I took the headlights off I noticed the grill and the support behind the grill were both broke in the center. Nothing is dented, just the plastic black grill/light support and the grill are broke, thats what they get for using plastic parts for that I guess lol.

My question is, are those body parts interchangeable with the F150 in the same year range? I plan to replace them and fix any rust or dents on the truck, she's a bit older but will be a purdy girl when I get it all fixed.

OH and cant make a post without a pic lol, sorry for the bad pic it was taken at 5 in the morn the day after I got it as I left for work lol

lol Bryan the boy would rather ride in the truck than on a quad, he loves this dang truck. I took him for his first ride in it and he informed me that it is his and mine and not mommies lol

That's too funny. We use to have a 69 Chevy short bed whenever Bryce was younger. It had a 350 in it and ran pretty good for being as rusted out as it was though. Bryce still remembers that darn truck too!

you should be able to use 92 to 97 ford truck parts. but not years older the font end is different. if it was a 91 have a stock grill thats in perfect shape. I would just go to a junk yard and get parts. prolly could get all for like 100 bucks.

yeah probably could, I have a 1990 that I am going to part out, wish the parts from it would fit but the whole front wrap is different.

Nick, yep have fenders but they are kinda rusty but I have 4 doors, 2 drivers that are good, blue and gray and one passenger good door that is blue and gray. All have good panels and switches

I have a 1990 that I am parting out, 302 with AOD tranny and 4x4

OH and Bryan, I am in the process of getting a couple parts from Dave and hooking him up too, he is definitely the authority on Fords lol. He gets them fairly cheap and parts them out and keeps what he needs for his private collection. He has a couple 90's model F150's that look nice, his pride and joy no doubt.

oh OK thanks Bryan, I will get ahold of Jerry. From what members here have said and a couple local ford guys all the body parts should fit, the only difference is suspension parts and a few other things.

I had a headlight that was broken so I wanted to buy a new one, I ended up buying a new pair of headlights on Ebay because the dealer price was $407.00 for a set WTF, I paid $44.00 for a set on ebay and they arrived yesterday, not only did the new lenses look 100% better ( they are new ) they also came with freaking bulbs, what a deal for 44 bucks Twisted Evil

Excellent find. Good Luck Geoff! It is probably best to try and text Jerry Gallion as he is working a ton of hours right now. He said that he worked something like 121 hours in a 7 day work week on his last check.

Yeah, his wife's uncle has a salvage yard back in Illinoise also. If he can't find it around here, he can find it somewhere.

I just talked to him last night and the overtime is almost to end for this year. He works 4 days this next week and then he's off for a couple of weeks while they retool.
