I have had my wisdom teeth coming in for what seems like a year now but i have 1 thats been stubborn and slow. I started running fevers and getting weak a few days ago and had some excruciating pain too. I found out it was infected and the infection was in my blood which was why my temps were crazy and couldn't be broke with the 3-4 ibuprofen Sad but I am on the road to recovery with the help of pain meds and antibiotics and I see the dentist Wednesday Sad very nervous about it...so keep me in your prayers! thanks

Shy hopefully you will be lucky like me and wont be in pain when they get pulled. Mine were impacted and had to be chipped out of my jaw bone. I never took a pain pill afterwards and was working on my house the next day. My wife wasn't too happy though because she had hers pulled and was miserable for 4 days...Haha

Brandon I had the same thing done and it SUCKED, I have two more that are apparently fully impacted in my jaw bone and never came through at all due to crowding, they want to drill a hole in my upper jaw bone, drill a screw into the two teeth and pull them through the bone, NO THANKS lol. As long as they are not causing me problems I think I will go ahead and pass on that lol.

Haha mine were like that too. One day at work 1 of them decided to pop through and I couldn't open my mouth or close it all the way. Hurt to talk too. Found a surgeon the next morning to get them out. I was the only person in there and my wife heard a drill going. She asked the nurse why they were using a drill. She said "Well we are drilling a hole in the center of the tooth and then are going to break it so we can pull it out in pieces. She about threw up on the spot.

I AM ALIVE!!

I was awake during the surgery they cut it out because it was considered an emergency and now I am in some pain but really just thankful they got that sucker out! Its roots were hooked into the bone so they had to cut into my jaw bone and i heard it cracking and omg i was scared. I am really really hurting but i've been through labor and so this is a walk in the park. Smile i even went to work for a few hours today ahaha i was told by everyone that i was crazy and i am going in tomorrow from 7am-10:30am too trying to make up my hours!
