1 First Day Out of 2010 on Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:55 pm

My cousin and I kicked the rust off today and managed to get down to Merwin, MO for some riding. The track was prepped and ready to go, and a huge crowd was out there practicing for the races tomorrow. The bikes were running great and the weather was perfect. I hope the woods dry out soon though so I can quit embarassing myself on the mx track. There's only so much roost a guy can eat!! Embarassed

Looks like he healed up okay Brian. Didn't he take a bad spill the latter part of last years riding season too?

Yeah he banged up his knee pretty bad on our last Chadwick ride. He's back to normal now.

I can't ride MX but I did try the track at Merwin once. It was bad! I whacked my face on the handlebars.

It was the rider, not the track or the bike. I learned quick to stay off the jumps Smile

They have some good trails too!

Yes sir...

http://midwestextremepark.com

The riding area in Merwin is called Midwest Extreme Park. I suggest everyone who rides on 2 wheels go check it out sometime. Great MX track and 100 acres of trails. They even have a pitbike track too. It's usually $10 to ride.

That would be awesome Brian..........The track thing just makes me hurt for several days afterwards. As the years go on, it only gets worse.....LOL
