holy shat that looks nasty on the piston, I would say stick with pump gas, I know I know you lose a little speed and some "cool factor" but it will be more reliable for trail riding and racing as well

wow, I think 66mm is .80 over on a Banshee so you are getting pretty close to max if they are stock sleeves 66.50 is max I believe.

I would say get a new jug, run your cool domes and run pump gas, more reliable and you can always change out later if you wanted.

For the sale side of it, if you want to sell it then you HAVE to go pump gas, there may be 10 people in KC that are looking for a used Banshee that is on alcohol but there are 200 people looking for a good used Banshee that runs on pump gas. We all like to go fast but people rarely buy things that burn anything other than pump gas because they assume you have tore the crap out of it, in most cases that is what happens and its hard to trust someone who rides a quad or bike and says it has never fallen over or been in the mud lol, so many ads on Craigslist crack me up saying that stuff.

Let us know if you need any help brother.

Another possibility is the lower rod bearing blew up or is on its way out, either way it looks like you got invaded by a motor gremlin

yeah I agree i like race gas alot but it is a little expensive. yeah i need to take the whole thing apart but I plan on selling it and don't want to dump a whole bunch of money into it I'll never get back

2 strokes like money lil bit at a time wait till you buy a 4 stroke were talking big money then... the cheapest route if your gonna sell is to buy a good used topend slap it on and sell it..

well not yet i need to buy two pistons plus gasket set, jet kit since changeing it over to pump gas, get the cylinders bored and honed if possible if the one that is bad isn't to far gone and put it back together which isn't a problem. I just don't know since if I hve it apart if I should go threw the bottom end to make sure there isn't anything down in there.
