2010 MEETING DATES

I haven't checked in lately. I'm sure I've missed a lot. I haven't been riding much though!

Is the meeting out at Perry Lake this time?

We should probably try to find a closer place so more members come, im not sure why only a few people showed up at Perry? Perhaps it was too much of a drive for some or was it just not enough notice?

I think I skipped it cause of the mud...as usual. I'll try to make the next one though.

if i remember right it was raining last meeting here.

if the meeting is on a sunday i will be there but if on saturday i will have to work

laffin, was some racing going on, plus it had been closed because of the several days of rain, then it opened fri and Sat, and plus it stormed late in the afternoon on Saturday also.............Any more I just try and find people to ride with and go with it, seems to hard to get a bunch together............Hey Brian hows it going, U up and riding yet ?

Well, we have tried planning these rides a few months out in the past. We have tried planning these rides on short time frames. Honestly we only had a total of six members show up at last meeting. I do understand that people do get busy and things change as time goes along. I am not back up and riding yet. However, I did start the bike on Tuesday (07/06/2010) for the first time since my accident on May 01, 2010. I am starting to lean more toward just trying to find people to ride with and go with it for now.

I will be riding again at my place this Saturday and anyone is welcome to join me. Grandpa58 and his family came out last Saturday and we had a pretty good time. We can make it an unofficial club ride. Honestly, I just want some people to ride with, so if your interested, then come on out and lets do some riding. BTW, what happened to Heath? Haven't heard from him in a very long time.

if the problem is just not having some where for everyone to meet up and hve a good time, i could possibly host a few events if that would help everyone get together. i know last year we had a few people show up, let me know

i know last year when i was hosting we had a few people show up each time, if it would help maybe i could host some more stuff in the near weeks. let me know if this would help lget people together and i will see what i can do about it

Heath Mansil (HeathMan) has moved to Idaho. He went up before school was out and was able to secure a job doing what he does best......working on engines. After school was out, he moved his wife and kids up there as well. I do still talke to him periodiacly and let him know he much he is missed by all.

I am still doing my physical therapy work out as well as trying to walk to get my leg back up to as close to normal as necessary. However, as a few of you know......I will still do my best to make it out whenever possible for a good gathering. Heck who knows, I might even drag the grill along from time to time as well. I want to get back on the bike and ride real soon too!

I was going to Perry last time but got held up by daughter then storm came through so never left. I was loaded though.

The 17th or the 30th or 31st should be OK, I will leave it up to you guys on Saturday or Sunday ride.

In the past, we have been very fortunate to have a few of our members host a meeting from time to time. Or, just have a group of people over to ride. We really appreciate your hospitality. If there is anybody open to the idea again on any of the following dates, that would be greatly appreciated.

If not, it looks like the closest public riding places would be:

Perry Lake
Finger Lakes
Cooper Creek (aka; Deepwater)

July 17; July 30 or July 31..............

If all members could please respond to a date and location ASAP, it would be greatly appreciated.

I prefer perry only because it's closer to me but i don't know how it is to everyone else. Anytime is good for me and I'll try to make it wherever we go.

I can host the meeting on the 30th or 31rst. I know that 816rider was talking about hosting one, so if he wants to thats cool. I have been trying to clear out some of the trails, but havn't had much time and the rain has not helped. Just let me know if you want to have it at my place.

i can host something on the 17th, so who ever wants to come out on the 17th i will give more details tonight but i will be riding on the 17 and all are welcome

Thanks Mike and Lucas, with two rides scheduled, maybe we can trick mother nature, and it won't know when to rain, if you guys need any help getting ready, the trails or whatever just holler. the 30th is a friday and the 31st is a saturday.
