when looking at the bike its the right cylinder that is having black gunk coming out where the exhaust meets the cylinder. the bike will run, but when idiling it by it self it wants to bogg down and die. when reved up it's fine but acting like running to rich. i just got new fuel and spark plugs put in when i got the fuel I got around 4.75 gallons and I added 5 gallons of two stroke oil. Is that my problem or is it a bad piston ring I need help. I figured with to much oil it would just smoke bad and didn't think that lil extra oil would hurt it. But im no two stroke expert just a rookie.

Sorry man I misunderstood, no that amount of extra oil, shouldn't hurt anything, Most two strokes leak alittle bit where the exhaust goes on the cylinders, thats pretty normal. A couple of o-rings and some heat proof silicone, should fix that But the bogging might a dirty air filter, have you cleaned it lately, I'd start there. Are you sure you put the same plugs back in it that you took out? Just a couple of easy checks.

No i havent cleaned it for awhile, but I checked it and isn't dirty. Do you think my carbs need cleaned and tuned? cuz I let fuel set in the carbs all winter and rode twice this winter. the bike has good upper powerband rpm but poor lower powerband. I'll clean carbs, tune them and put new spark plugs in and see what that does

After all that ,you might tweek the air mixture screw on the sides of the carbs, normal is aboout 1 1/2 out, might go out 1/4 turn then in 1/4 turn and see whats better, let me know how it turns out, oh yeah if you have stock carbs check the little hose in between the two carbs
